A good day was had by all
Off we went to Tramore yesterday but not without getting tidied up first and Caroline’s Hair Creation went a long on that score. Myself and Joan had our hair done by Caroline and head-pieces fixed firmly in place! And I picked up a really nice clutch bag in Town & Country to finish off the outfit. We had a fabulous meal in the Spinnaker in Dunmore East and got a taxi to the Tramore Races from there. We enjoyed the evening but I think the girls might have been a little under-whelmed by Tramore – if they could have got a red wine that was drinkable it might have gone a long way towards keeping them happy, regardless of what kind of glass/tumbler it was served in… Moving on – we went back to Dunmore East and enjoyed a relaxed evening in Butcher Powers and The Strand Hotel, meeting up with some old friends on the way… We stayed in The Haven Hotel and really enjoyed the old-world charm and friendly staff.
I was back home in time for mass! And then I got mass a second time at Eamonn’s granny’s 100th birthday party! We had a lovely afternoon there, what a milestone! We weren’t particularly hungry later but finished the day off with a light snack in Templar’s Inn. I’m tired now and feel that I need a wee rest but I have a busy enough Monday ahead of me tomorrow – not to worry, I can sleep in winter.
