My mind is quiz-bound
Time is ticking by, it’ll be quiz-time before I know it. Oh, I didn’t tell you?! Here you go again – just in case. I nominated myself (I know, I’ll never learn) to organise a Table Quiz in aid of the heating fund for Templetown Church – you’d need to be there to know how cold it can get… It’s all happening tomorrow evening – Friday – at 9.30pm in Templar’s Inn. I’m getting lovely prizes in – thank you peeps – but probably the most interesting is two tickets to the Leinster v Munsterm rugby match, I think it’s on in October. Also, the first ten tables will get a nice free prize. I still need to fine-tune the questions etc so my mind will be racing between now and then.
I was in the Hook Lighthouse today and it was so busy. Myself and Hollie went out for a hot chocolate but Hollie ended up having her lunch and I spotted an artisan ginger beer, it went down nicely with my Tayto! Rose does art classes there every day and she was quite busy today with it being a rainy afternoon. With prices from €2 to €5 it seems a good way to entertain the kids. It reminds me of PAINT ME on the Quay in New Ross, I always smile when I read the Arty Parties sign in their window when I drive by.
Busy day tomorrow so with a few BER jobs on and I have to collect my gúna from Emerald Dry Cleaners for the races in Tramore on Saturday – weather permitting. Fingers crossed. We had the cúpla focal in the Wheelhouse Café in Fethard this evening and we’re off to Vine Cottage in Saltmills next week – good stuff.
